Article Marketing Can Make You More Credible and “Famous!”

I have written this article to share a number of (hopefully useful) experience based ideas about the massive name recognition building and brand marketing potential that Article Marketing can afford ANYONE who uses it correctly. I have inserted specific examples at various points in this write up mainly to provide details that demonstrate the effectiveness of this method – and NOT to promote or market myself.

Today, I have over 150 articles published online on various subjects/themes via Ezinearticles.com.

One of the benefits this has resulted in, is that more and more people (over 150 unique visitors per day, with over 250 page views) are finding my website via online searches. Now, these numbers are not BIG, but comparing them to what I used to record BEFORE I adopted Article Marketing (and what obtains in my local market), they are impressive.

This growing website traffic has brought new/repeat patronage every now and then for different products and services I offer.

For instance, in January 2011, about 15 persons who had visited my Farm Biz Support website in the past, responded to a special LOW PRICE offer I made (via bulk SMS message I sent to phone numbers they submitted via my website contact form), to purchase the eBook version of my Practical Livestock Feed Formulation Handbook by paying into my bank account from different parts of the country – Abuja, P/Harcourt, Sagamu, Lagos, Ibadan etc.

Indeed, some who had problems finding the appropriate bank branch to pay into, were so determined to get the eBook, that they called and asked if they could send recharge cards of equivalent naira value to pay. I accepted, and two of them sent their payments in form of recharge card pins numbers (to my mobile phone). They got their eBooks in their mail boxes – as promised.

But what is my point here? It’s simple really.

All these people – without exception – went this far to send money to me even though they had NEVER met me, at great risk to themselves.

Question: How could they have known I would not simply take the money without sending them anything? Answer: They took a leap of faith!

But the TRUTH of the matter is that they ONLY found it easy to take that leap of faith because of the articles and other resources they had gone through on my website(s), which had convinced them I was credible enough to be given a try.

That’s what Articles Marketing, and other components of a web marketing system can do for you: help you to BUILD trust and credibility in the minds of your target audience. Never bother yourself about those who say they have no time to read your stuff – quite often, they will NOT be people who need or can benefit from what you offer.

Article Marketing is called a timeless marketing technique, because everything you do to promote yourself in this manner, builds on what you have done before. So, it GROWS over time. And you get to enjoy the results.

Make yourself a recognized expert FASTER. Using Article Marketing, you can make your name (or that of your company) get widely known online – and over time offline (those online will talk about you to others who are not) – through articles you write.

It’s NOT easy work, and sometimes one may not do a good job of it, but with consistent effort over time, you can expect to improve, and by so doing build a good following, that would rub off positively one way or another on you/your business.

My experiences confirm that the foregoing is a very realistic expectation you can nurse, when you start your Article Marketing campaign. Just remember to DILIGENTLY follow the best practice guidelines for using this technique – such as editorial tips provided by the articles submission directory you choose.

On a final note, there is a book titled “Get Slightly Famous” with the subtitle “Become a Celebrity in Your Field and Attract More Business with Less Effort.”

A description of the book states that “The best clients and customers are those who seek you out because they have already heard of you. Get Slightly Famous shows how to build visibility and credibility by positioning yourself as a valuable resource and mini-celebrity within your target market.”

Article Marketing is one VERY powerful instrument that can be used to very cost-effectively achieve EXACTLY what is stated in the above description.

Do You Really Have To Find A Conventional Publisher? (A Case for Print On Demand Publishing)

Following recent sales conversations, I have come to the conclusion that many aspiring authors in my part of the world, STILL fail to see the cost, time and effort saving advantages offered by web based Print On Demand Publishing services.

Let me point out the following:

1. Conventional (brick and mortar) publishers will NOT always see the GENIUS in every authors work, even if it’s there.

That’s because they are human. The owner of the work may have to fall back on his/her BELIEF to forge ahead, IN SPITE of their rejection. Historical evidence bears testimony to the accuracy of this fact.

2. Even when traditional publishers do find your work interesting, very often their fees – for the aspiring writer – can be prohibitive.

3. If you adopt web based Print On Demand publishing to get your book into the market place, you will enjoy the benefits of having potential buyers access previews of your book, towards deciding if they are going to buy. And this would happen without your having to incur anything close to what it would take to get published conventionally.

Also, you will be able to inexpensively use articles on related themes to DRAW attention and generate leads to your book’s sales page. Most importantly, since you will be using the web, it will cost you next to nothing to keep this going.

Furthermore, with the widespread availability of FREE self-promotional tools such as directories, and social media (e.g. facebook), you can successfully carry on a sustained marketing campaign, tweaked periodically based on results you get, to create more awareness about and interest in your book.

Now, wouldn’t that be better than leaving your written manuscript in your bottom drawer, waiting till you can find – and afford to pay – a conventional publisher?

The choice is yours. I certainly hope you don’t wait for ever. Indeed if you take ACTION to adopt the Print On Demand Publishing referred to above, THAT could lead to your work getting noticed by a GOOD PUBLISHER that could decide to sign you up – even if they require that you improve certain aspects.

FINAL WORDS

Use what you have to get what you want…GET YOUR BOOK OUT THERE VIA THE WEB, and promote it with the passion that made you write it. Sooner than later something GOOD will happen. You’ll be better off doing that, than sitting around and waiting for a publisher to discover you!

There’s a lot to learn…those of us in Africa need to tread softly when it comes to spending heavily to get published. If/when we have to spend, let’s do so to purchase systems and resources that stretch every unit of money we spend, so we can get maximal, sustained benefits.

And That’s why I LOVE web based book publishing and marketing methods. With Print On Demand Publishing, you get your book in a ready to print/publish state at almost zero cost. The onus then falls on you to create needed marketing buzz to get people to BUY the book from its online store. Only when they buy does the provider charge a fee. Then you get your royalty.

Potential Benefits of Promoting Your Business Online Via Articles, Newsletter & Facebook Marketing

In working as a Web Marketing Specialist, one of my key offering to clients is “development of a Web Marketing System” that helps the client generate more business leads and/or WIN more potential customers.

To win over prospects as clients, I often provide – in easy to understand language – information and education about key web marketing system components that can be incorporated into their websites to achieve the above mentioned purpose.

The importance of the somewhat unusual service I offer out here is reflected in the fact that over 95% of those who have hired me already had existing websites – which they engaged me to re-invent by incorporate a custom web marketing system.

But Exactly What Benefits Do I Offer, That Convinces Them?

In case the above question has crossed your mind, you will be glad to know that you are not alone. Every CEO with a sense of responsibility has asked the same question. My answers – often given verbally in a meeting but sometimes in written form (via email) – in 70 to 75% of cases have been good enough to win me the job.

What follows below, is a reproduction of explanations I have provided prospects in the past about specific web marketing system tasks I components I will integrate into their websites (as well as tasks/activities I will carry out), and the benefits that will accrue to their business as a result.

If you want to get the kinds of results promised below, you will NEED to implement a web marketing system comprising the described components for your business on the Internet. Contact me if you need help deciding how to go about it.

1. Publish A Website Newsletter:

Your company MUST have a “face” it presents to the world, through which it will communicate with customers and potential customers. The newsletter not only helps you stay in touch with those you know, but it also enables you use them to reach and convert those they know.

In addition, you get to make direct sales pitches to your subscribers who are more likely to be trusting and OPEN to your advances. Over time, you will find that MORE sales, requests for your services and other income-earning opportunities will come through your newsletter channeled offers. And that is why you NEED to run a regular newsletter service.

You can design a Custom Newsletter HTML template. An HTML newsletter is simply a visually embellished/enhanced version of a text based one, BUT it offers you the advantage of being able to present image based information to subscribers, which is proven to stimulate higher reading interest in subscribers.

Having said that, some subscribers may not get the HTML newsletter in the format you send it, if they use email clients that “filter” HTML emails. In Nigeria however, since majority of people use more of Free services like Yahoo!, which are HTML friendly, there are still reasonable benefits to be had.

2. Create An Articles Marketing Profile:

including crafting of a promotional byline (at top directories like Ezinearticles.com) for the CEO, and/or other key officers.

It is VERY important to populate reputable directories and other marketing outlets online with your profile (formal descriptions of YOU, your BRAND, and what you do). Doing this will ensure that when someone types your name in a search engine, the RIGHT image you want to project is what they see.

In today’s world, when people meet or hear about someone that interests or concerns them, they usually immediately “Google” his/her name. It is imperative that you control the descriptions of you that come up.

By crafting a personal profile for you, and publishing it on article directories and other places online, you will boost your international exposure and appeal, while consolidating your credibility as “experts” in your field of specialisation. This is guaranteed to make your readers perceive EACH author as competent and reliable.

3. Write Articles On Tested Topics Of Interest & Publish/Promote Through Online Directories

Do most of your website visitors get your website address from you, newspapers,and other mass media? If YES, you may have some work to do. I tell my clients that to AIM to achieve is a situation where up to 80% of those who visit your website are people who find it themselves without getting told the URL. And that’s why getting found by search engines is your best bet for achieving maximum marketing reach and impact, cost-effectively.

Articles marketing is recognised by the best business marketing specialist worldwide as a timeless marketing technique that enables you achieve optimal fame and recognition that knows no geographical limitations.

Articles marketing will bring you MORE followers through indirect channels – that is outside the reach of mass media and other advertising channels.

4. Do Diligent Facebook & Website Marketing Online

Many businesses tend to operate a Facebook presence with a one-sided perspective. That is to say that they let people come to them on Facebook. What you need to do is develop and implement a strategy to DELIBERATELY create additional awareness within and outside Facebook ABOUT your Facebook and website based products and services.

This is VERY important, because there will be thousands of potential followers out there who still do not know you exist. You must PUSH out (go to their social circles on Facebook and the net in general) and PULL them in to Facebook.

You will for instance deliberately participate in online forums/discussion groups and Facebook networks in discussions, making sure to add tangible value. As the opportunity presents itself, you will add your signature – or link to relevant pages on your website or Facebook page – that readers can click. In the process, some of those who follow those links will develop interest in what you offer.

It could be argued that placing a Facebook Ad would help achieve the above, BUT the reality is that the Ads are temporary (and require payment), while what I propose will leave PERMANENT or long term “trails” that others will be able to follow to get to your Facebook and website presence – AND you will not need to make payment to keep doing it FOREVER!

Summary: The above strategies, if well implemented, will dramatically boost your marketing reach and impact online.

If you stay diligently committed to doing them regularly, you are bound to achieve measurable name/brand recognition that will be sustained for the long term, winning you favourable attention and interest from your target audience over time. Good luck!

An Online Presence is NOT the same as a website. It’s good to have the latter, but it’s BEST to have the former. Sadly, many business owners do NOT know the difference, and focus only on a website. I explain how they differ, and why investing in an Online Presence guarantees YOU Superior Selling Success in 2015, and beyond!

1. A website is one entity – a specific location online – where information about you and the solutions you offer can be found.

Typically, it will be accessible via a URL e.g. www.boostyourfarmprofits.biz (for my Cost-Saving Farm Business Ideas website) or www.tayosolagbade.com (my flagship website).

If you have ONLY a website, potential buyers (who do not already know you) would need to discover that website to learn what you can do for them.

This can happen if it gets indexed by search engines, causing it to turn up in Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs).

Many website owners take advantage of FREE website submission services provided by the engines – Google.com being the most popular. They also do submissions to FREE directories and also post FREE ads on forums etc. Some people also place ads online to make their websites get found, but I’m focusing here on zero cost website promotion tactics often used.

Having said the above, in today’s competitive marketplace, a website ALONE is no longer enough to generate the marketing reach and impact needed for selling success.

Some questions for you, if you currently have ONLY a website…

What does your website do for you?

Does it bring more money into your business or is it a drain pipe for your profits?

If you’d like it to help you make money, at zero cost, keep reading.

2. I define an Online Presence as a collection of specific locations online where information – presented in multiple friendly formats – about you and the solutions you offer can be found.

Notice the difference from a website?

In this case, there is more than ONE location where information about/related to you and what you do exists.

But not just that – the information is presented in a variety of formats.

Most importantly, unlike when you have ONLY a website, having an ONLINE presence means potential buyers (who do not already know you) would be able to find you and discover what you can do for them through a variety of different channels. That dramatically increases your chances of getting found – boosting the likelihood of sales conversations happening.

Every business owners wants that!

To achieve superior selling success, you need what I like to call an Effective Online Presence (EOP) or what I call a Web Marketing System.

By this I refer to a collection of intelligently interlinked locations online where information – presented in multiple friendly formats – about you and the solutions you offer can be found.

I like to call it a Web Marketing System (WMS) because that term, for me, better captures the value it delivers.

Now, like I have repeatedly said in many of my articles, a Web Marketing System (WMS) has several key components, four (4) of which I always recommend that EVERY business owner ensure s/he adopts.

Those key components are shown in the mind map displayed below:

From the above you can see that a website is only ONE of the key components of a Web Marketing System (WMS) or Effective Online Presence (EOP).

But it is not the most important. The website is just one of several platforms from which your sales and marketing information can be presented and propagated.

Note also that it’s not just any website we’re talking about here. In a WMS, what you have is called a Response-Generating Website i.e. one that gets the target audience to take the action that YOU want e.g. to contact you or at least leave his/her contact details (by subscribing to an offer on the site).

Now, more critical to the selling success of a WMS or EOP, are the other components i.e. Search Engine Attracting Article Writing, Sales Leads Generating Email Newsletter Marketing, and Traffic Building Blogging and Social Media Marketing.

The above mentioned, and others shown in the mind map, have the effect of boosting your ability to get noticed for what you offer, even when you are NOT there.

In other words, they present your content to potential buyers in a cumulative manner, so that nothing goes to waste.

For as long as you keep adding more to them, the new stuff gets put on the existing stuff, adding to the visibility and impact of your work. Simply put, each time a person considering buying from you encounters your WMS, s/he finds that there’s often something new and valuable that’s been added since the last time s/he visited.

Over time, the psychological effect of this is that s/he feels drawn to make contact with you.

I say all of the above based on the successes I achieve on an increasingly frequent basis using my own WMS or EOP.

Many of my clients today, within and outside Africa, found me via various parts of my WMS – my Google+ page, my Youtube Video Demonstration Channel, my Excel-Heaven Facebook page, my Daily Multidisciplinary Blog, Ezinearticles.com, my Guest Posts on other websites and even my Twitter page.

Note that several of the above channels are automatically updated based on content I publish on my Daily Multidisciplinary Blog. This saves me major time and effort sharing new content I have – while giving me considerable visibility and name recognition.

But the most crucial job they do for me is that they work together to influence more of those who encounter my content, to contact me, thereby adding themselves to my database of Pre-qualified Prospects.

Pre-qualified Prospects are people who have already indicated interest – by reaching out to you – in the solutions you offer.

These people have let you know, by so doing, that given the right terms and conditions, they are likely to part with money to get your products/services.

If you really want to achieve selling success, your EOP or WMS must help you GROW your list of Pre-qualified Prospects. The more people who add themselves (with their contact details – name, email, phone numbers etc) to your database, the more people you have that you can make sales offers to, with increased assurance of making a sale.

Basically, you would be doing what I call “Subscriber Web Contact Form Data Mining” – see details in my article titled “Using Your Blog To Make Money – Little Used Strategies You Can Exploit – No. 4 of 4“(Click to read).

Once you have an EOP or WMS that enables you do the above, your ability to close sales will dramatically improve.

This is because you will basically have a captive audience of people looking for the solutions you offer. It will not be up to you to THINK up creative ways to MINE that database of subscribers for the sales you need.

PS: Key Assumptions on Which the Above Ideas are Based

In discussing the above options, I argue, and have done so for years, that business website owners from our part of the world (Africa), whose primary target audience is NOT in developed societies are not likely to get returns on paid online advertisement as rapidly and reliably as our those over there.

This is because the web based buying behaviour of people in Africa is very different from that of people out there. My experiences and achievements as an African who sells mainly digital products and services to buyers in both parts of the world convince me that I am right.

I have tested this repeatedly, and found that it is more prudent, for the long terms, to employ zero cost web marketing, like the one I advocate here, than to invest in paid online advertising, especially when seeking cost-effective and sustainable/long term selling success.

Keep the foregoing in mind in evaluating the ideas I’ve shared here.

To Succeed Smarter You Need a Do-It-Yourself Mentality

[Photos: House painting after Christmas day 2014, with my sons] Unlike when I relocated ALONE in April 2013, moving my family from this Lagos apartment, to join me in Cotonou, has (not surprisingly) been a less straightforward matter, on multiple fronts, from the kids to even their grandparents!

But it’s progressing, slowly. We’re disposing old stuff etc. 2 days ago (Xmas night – 25th Dec. 2014) from 8.30 p.m till 3.00a.m (Yes, past midnight!) we applied the first coat of paint to the outside walls, inside the kitchen, bathroom and toilet etc.Tired but hungry, we cleaned up, had our baths then ate pancakes and plantain, before going to bed. The kids were so excited! 6 hours later, at about 10a.m we were back at it, applying a second coat (see photos below).

But why paint a house we’re soon to move out of, you may wonder?

Well, you see, my rental experiences in the past 19 months (and 2 house changes) in Benin Republic have exposed me to a practice diligently adhered to by property owners and their tenants, which I find personally agreeable.

In the tenancy agreement signed by both parties, a clause is always inserted to the effect that before leaving, the tenant will restore the rented property to the original state s/he took possession of it at the start of his/her tenancy.

That will typically be determined via a joint pre vacation inspection. Sometimes only repainting of certain areas may be needed. At other times damaged fittings etc may have to be replaced.

Simply put, the exiting tenant has to hand over the property in as close as possible to the same state it was handed over to him/her.

Now, in Nigeria, this practice exists, but is not implemented in the same formal and detailed/elaborate manner as I’ve seen done in Benin Republic.

But, I have resolved to do it, as done in Benin even though the tenancy agreement I signed with the owner of the place we live in Lagos, does NOT require it.

Here are excerpts from a letter I sent to the agency, in September 2014, shortly after I spoke with him, when he came to do the pre vacation inspection:

My work is 80% PC and Internet based (See www.tayosolagbade.com). I need reliable power supply. And to be productive, I’d rather not have power and work against background noise of generators. This was why I moved to Cotonou, on 1st April 2013, and I’ve been able to work without those annoyances – with MAJOR progress as a result. And that’s why I’m moving my family to join me there.

But like I told <agency staff’s name> when we met on Saturday 16th August 2014, I already resolved to restore the apartment as close as possible to the condition in which it was when my family moved in.

Specifically, the broken fittings (sink, kitchen cabinet etc) will be repaired. And it will be repainted. As I explained to <agency staff’s name>, I believe it is only fair to <property owner’s name> that I do this. Incidentally, it is the practice here in Benin.

For instance, I had to repaint the bathroom of the self-contained apartment I vacated after staying there a year – in line with my tenancy agreement. In the larger apartment I’ve now moved into, in another part of town, the same clause exists in the agreement I signed. Since I plan to own my own property in the near future, I want to treat others the way I would like my property to be treated.

Now, another reason why this painting exercise in particular appealed to me is that it provided a useful opportunity to teach my kids to do it i.e house painting.

Most people in our part of world don’t know much about painting, and few are keen to learn.

Indeed some believe it to be beneath them to engage in such an activity that can get rather messy. So they prefer to pay others to do it.

I however believe that attitude is a mistake.

On my part, I tell my kids how learning to do stuff like that by themselves can help them save money to be paid to painters. I also point out how learning to do it can even equip them to make quick money on the side, in future, by doing simple painting jobs for others who are unwilling to do it themselves.

You see, it is my considered opinion that not only do we need to develop our DIY (Do-It-Yourself) abilities, to succeed better, we also owe our kids an obligation to equip them to do the same.

Simply put, I’m saying we can boost our ability to succeed in the world by learning to do more for ourselves, by ourselves.

My conviction is not baseless. I have relatives and friends living in the UK and USA, and while in Guinness Nigeria, I worked closely with several senior colleagues/bosses from the UK.

I also traveled across England, Wales, Scotland and other parts of the UK in 2000, attending an international brewing course organized by the UK based Institute & Guild of Brewing.

My conversations with those relatives, colleagues and associates revealed that most people in their societies strive to develop a DIY habit because of the high cost of skilled labour.

A former expatriate British boss in Guinnes once told me he owned his own welding machine because the fees one had to pay to call in a welder were prohibitive. That made it cost-effective to own the equipment and learn to use it.

Another expatriate senior colleague whose home I visited in London showed me his kitchen cabinets, which he proudly told me he built and fitted by himself. My own older brother, who lived in London at the time, when he later moved to Lagos, to start a new business, displayed a propensity for fixing things in his home by himself, for the same reasons.

I still recall watching with a mix of amusement and curiosity each time he opened his toolbox and took out/began using electric drills etc around his apartment. He told me the same things the other persons said: he adopted a DIY approach because it was prudent to do so – financially and otherwise.

Back home in Nigeria/Africa, because most people who do jobs like carpentry, plumbing, painting etc, are often not well schooled, we know we can get their services relatively cheaply, or so we think.

What I have however learnt is that in the long run it all still adds up.

That’s why today I also employ the DIY approach as often as possible – and it’s paying off.

It is my hope that you will avail yourself of the benefits accruable from doing the same thing – so as to keep more of your money in your pockets!

To Achieve Business Success, You Need More Than Credentials and Expertise (Hint: Lots of Unspoken Rules Exist for You to Master)

The above handwritten testimonial (received in 2008) is one of a number I got from users of custom MS Excel-Visual basic driven apps I built, back when I still used to give out my specially designed client feedback forms.

I have since dispensed with the use of those forms, and no longer request testimonials from clients, as I resolved, to do less development work, and focus more on promoting custom Excel-VB apps I build for sale.

Most people, the uninitiated especially would have considered my decision to stop requesting testimonials an unwise move…

Especially since I was doing something very unpopular, and basically having to create my own market, where none previously existed.

The results I have since gotten however point clearly to the fact that I was right. It’s been a long journey to get where I today, at the level of mainly passive income earning success. A lot of persistence, and courage, had to be applied, diligently, over the past decade, starting from a very humble beginning.

When I say "humble" beginning, I mean that in every sense of the word. Like I have noted in several of my past articles, in 2002, I quit my high paying, promising career as a high flying manager in Guinness to pursue a long standing dream of owning my own business.

However, like many others before me, I soon discovered that success in business, especially in my part of the world (Nigeria/Africa), required a lot more than credentials and hands-on competence/expertise at what you do…

You also have to understand a lot of the unspoken rules (e.g. about spending on sales/marketing in micro, small or medium business), how to deal with mind game playing counterparts you will encounter, and various forms of intrigue!

Quite often, mastery of these aspects have to be picked up from the streets as you go along. No formal learning institution can teach you the ropes in this regards. You simply have to undergo the experience to acquire critical street wisdom that will help you compete effectively!

That was what I did, and it was VERY painful, but I knew it would be worthwhile, so I gritted my teeth and endured.

One of the most important lessons I learnt was the need to drastically cut down ALL spending, and to be VERY slow to commit funds to expenditures. But I learnt it a little too late, at a point when I had exhausted the funds I left Guinness with.

In the long run however, that experience provided me the incentive or stimulus I needed to uncover the valuable lessons I needed to learn.

Over time I found out the hard way, struggling with no funds, to market and promote the solutions I offered to my target audience, that I could successfully get A LOT done without having to spend much …sometimes without spending ANYTHING monetary.

As you can imagine, that was a discovery that excited me greatly, and I explored it with great zeal subsequently. Today, I use all that I’ve learnt to repeatedly and consistently attract and sell to paying clients/customers at low to zero cost. Plus, I help my clients – those who diligently put what I do for them to use – do the same.

Some have complimented me on my seemingly uncanny creativity, which enables me continually come up with practical solutions to challenges they need to overcome. I always reply by saying that I honed my skills in this regard during the periods of extreme and prolonged financial hardships I passed through. During those times I learned to dig deep, and THINK all the time of how to get what I wanted without paying money …since I often had NO MONEY.

After coming into better times, I have remained committed to using the same principle, because it enables me reap fatter profit margins from what I do, than if I chose to spend more.

In other words, even though I can afford to spend more to get more, what I continue to do is actively challenge myself to explore even more ways to spend less and less, and less, to earn more and more and more.

Guess what? I AM succeeding in doing so!

Plus, I want to help others do the same. It does not matter what field, or vocation you’re in. Neither does it matter how much you make currently. I also do not need to know the technicalities of what you do.

What matters is that you be convinced and willing to diligently apply the solution once it’s setup for you.

Sell my Spreadsheet Software and Keep the Money

Today, I live my dream – earning passive income via multiple channels selling my digital products and services…especially my custom Excel-Visual Basic software. In this article, I point out the fact that you can sell spreadsheet software you get from me, and keep the money

It has been gratifying to have growing numbers of my target audience responding to my offers. As this year (2014) draws to a close, I’ve been making special promotional offers of a combination of my custom Excel software and Web Marketing solutions.

Specifically, I’ve been offering my Poultry Farm Manager at a zero cost to persons who choose to sign up for my Xmas promotional Web Marketing System Development offer.

Starting from January 2015, some of my products and services will feature new prices and terms/conditions for purchase.

However, I am keen to make it easier for more people to take up the solutions I offer – especially my custom Excel Software.

My conversations with many Farm CEO clients and subscribers to my newsletter mailing list, made me realize the need to give them as many options as possible to choose from.

That’s why I’ve revived a series of options I first began using back in 2004, but which I later put aside due to non-interest from clients who hired me.

Back then I still worked on site and face to face with clients. Today, I no longer do that.

Below, I highlight key benefits intending buyers can reap, if they choose to purchase my custom Excel-VB solutions

Since 1st April 2013, I have focussed on developing apps for sale, rather than take on custom development projects. This change of strategy has enabled me rapidly build a library of Excel-VB apps and information products, that I now actively promote to my target audience.

I intend to continue that way, and will only accept custom application development projects that offer remuneration I consider worthy of my investment of time and effort.

For persons who choose to buy my apps or hire me to build apps for them, you can explore one or more of the following options

1. You Can Make Money By Reselling Them

You can RESELL any application I build for you, to others.

Yes. All we have to do is formally discuss and agree what you want to do, and who your target audience are. Then I’ll build and/or customize the relevant app for you, and brand it 100% in your (or your company’s) name.

If you wish, I would also help you setup a marketing plan to promote the product to those you want to buy it.

You keep ALL the money you make. I would have NO say in it.

2. You Do Not Need to be PC Literate to Use my XL Apps

This is one of the key features of the solutions I offer. I’ve had to work with users who had minimal (sometines NO) PC or Excel familiarity. In order to ensure they could make use of the apps independent of me, I had to develop my own unique Graphic User Interfaces, that are intuitive and automated.

It took me thousands of hours of trial and error and countless sleepless nights to get it right, but eventually I did.

Today, the floating modeless, dynamic menu driven data entry and report generation custom forms are my trademark. I use them to present the user friendly login interfaces and navigation menus. In some of my more sophisticated applications, the user can carry out virtually all key tasks on the floating form without have to interact directly with the Excel spreadsheet.

The foregoing is what makes it possible for novices to use my Excel software. They need not know Excel. Within 30 minutes most users can be taught to use my apps, and over time become capable of independent operation.

This is why I tell clients that: if you can use a mobile phone, then you can use my applications.

3. You are Unlikely to Need to Replace Them for YEARS

I work with clients to think ahead, and try to anticipate likely need(s) that would necessitate modifications in the application. Then I build in user-friendly interfaces that allow the user modify the program’s behaviour to accommodate the identified need(s).

The experiences I gained from developing applications for clients use in various industries, since 2004, have served me well in building the apps I now offer for sale. As a result, buyers are attracted to the solutions I offer because they are often comprehensive and based on tested models.

4. You DO NOT Have to Pay me CASH!

In making your payment, rather than send me money, you can, for instance, purchase – and ship to me (or yourself) – copies of my paperback books from my online store, equivalent in value to the invoiced amount, plus shipping and handling.

The idea is that you need not pay the full fee 100% in cash or with money.

Up to 50% of the price of any product or service I offer can be paid for in this manner. Indeed, I welcome suggestions or proposals from intending buyers on alternative ways to make payment for up to 50% of the fee.
