LEARN COUNTING FROM 1 TO 1,000 IN YORUBA LANGUAGE USING THIS CUSTOM MENU DRIVEN SPREADSHEET APP [With Optional MP3 Audio files]

6 months ago, I began toying with the idea of creating a spreadsheet application to help my daughters better understand how to count in our native Yoruba language.

Today – 3rd April 2019 – I am able to announce that a fully functional version of that application is now ready and I intend, like I did with my Storyfied Proverbs book back in 2014) to make it available for use by any interested persons.

See details below:

I created this custom spreadsheet application as a tool for teaching my kids to count in our native Yoruba language. The girls can NOW count from 1 to 100 in Yoruba.

But I want them to use this table, with its drop down menu query interface (above) to master counting in Yoruba to 1,000 and beyond. It will help them refresh their memories, via repetition, so as to ensure long term retention.

It allows users to choose a number to display it’s full Yoruba meaning, complete with phonetic markings – AND automatically play AUDIO SNIPPETS OF ME & MY KIDS VOICES (REPLACEABLE WITH YOURS) CALLING OUT EACH NUMBER IN ENGLISH AND YORUBA.
