Since building this app in 2009, for a 12,000 layer farm and then putting it up for sale online in 2011, I’ve patiently, and painstakingly, documented comments and feedback from inquirers as well as buyers/users.

Over time, I’ve adopted enhancements to be incorporated into the app to make it better meet the needs of my target audience I.e Farm CEOs and other stakeholders.

The New 2017 App Version Will Come With:

1. My trademark modeless custom floating automated data entry forms for time/effort saving posting of updates into various interfaces from farm operations to financial/sales and expenses records

This feature alone will double user productivity, including affecting a reduction in occurrence of user data entry errors to the barest minimum.

2. Automated menu driven charts for daily, weekly and monthly trending of broilers Key Performance Indicators e.g Feeding Rate, Feed Conversion Ration, Average Weight Gain etc

This feature adds to the existing Broiler Farm Operations Report which is generated dynamically for specific periods using drop menus.

Given the time sensitive nature of the broiler business model, the usefulness of this new feature is easy to appreciate. Daily/weekly review of the charted KPIs is made possible at the click of a button, like for layers.

I continue to encourage broiler farm CEOs to let me know what other features/functions to include.

3. Automated menu driven charts for daily, weekly and monthly trending of the PFM’s Income and Expense Summary report based on the respective income and expense heads or categories used.

This feature will put power in the hands of the Farm CEO to quickly and effortlessly track the changes in each area for timely and more accurate decision making.

In addition to the above, I’ve had to factor in the growing reality of the need to protect my intellectual property and the interests of those who choose to invest in purchasing the full fee license.

This is why I will ONLY be offering access to the New 2017 Excel-VB PFM:

1. To existing clients who purchased the license at the full fee. They get upgrades FREE for life as specified for all my apps.

2. To existing clients who purchased the license at a promo fee. They get upgrades at a promo fee offer I will broadcast.

Tayo K. Solagbade is a Location Independent Performance Improvement

Specialist and Multipreneur (i.e. a highly versatile/multi-skilled entrepreneur), with a bias for delivering Best Practice solutions to Farm Businesses and others.

Since 2002, he has earned multiple streams of income providing individuals and organizations with personal development training and coaching, custom MS Excel-VB solutions, web marketing systems/web hosting, freelance writing services, and best practice extension support services (for farm business owners).

Tayo is the author of the Self-Development (SD) Bible™ and the popular Livestock Feed Formulation Handbook. He is also the developer of its accompanying Excel-VB driven Ration Formulator™ and the Poultry Farm Manager™ software.

In a previous life, before leaving to become self-employed, Tayo served for seven years (October 1994 to December 2001) as a high performing manager in Guinness Nigeria. He rose from Shift Brewer to Training & Technical Development Manager, and later acted in senior roles as Production Manager and Technical Manager.

In addition to constantly challenging the status quo and influencing positive work changes, he built a reputation for using self-taught spreadsheet programming skills (starting with Lotus 1-2-3, and later moving to Excel Visual Basic) – in his spare time – to develop Automated Spreadsheet Applications to computerize manual report generation processes in the departments he worked. Over four(4) of his applications were adopted for brewery level reporting.

Tayo holds a B.Sc degree in Agricultural Extension Services from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, having graduated top of his class – with Second Class Upper Division honors – in 1992. He is an Associate Member of the UK Institute & Guild of Brewing, a 1997 National Finalist of the Nigerian Institute of Management’s(NIM) Young Managers’ competition, a Certified Psychometric Test Administrator for Psytech UK, innovator of Spontaneous Coaching for Self-Development™ (SCfS-D™), and Founder of the Self-Development Academy (SDAc).
