Your Mental Attitude Can Help You Develop Street Wisdom Needed to Safely and Profitably Navigate Shark Infested Waters of Business

It’s not just about being competent in your vocation or business or whatever you plan to do. People going into business will need to develop “street wisdom” to competently interact with buyers or clients.

Otherwise they can be competent, and still struggle to get paid for their products and services!

Believe me when I say I’ve seen a lot of this happen first hand – like the true story I share below.

I once had a client whose manufacturing operation sold a excellent consumable item nationally. But his distributors routinely held him to ransom, by failing to remit money for sales of items he sent them on credit via hired trucks to Abuja!

Yet they still called and asked for more. He told me he could not say NO, because they made a lot of sales for him. I told him it was because he was NOT actively recruiting NEW distributors who could perform.

And that was the hard truth. These are not things we learn easily. It can be a painful process!

Do you know that he ended up taking a bank overdraft facility that nearly ruined him, just to cope with cash flow demands, when he had over N2million in receivables?!!

And with salaries to pay too!

So you see, he had the required technical competence to succeed, but he lack the required mental attitude to deal with the realities his business operations faced.

I like to use the phrase: “You need Street-Wisdom, NOT just Textbook Theory, to excel in the real world” – to capture my intended meaning in this regard.

Books/E-books and real life learning or coaching, that help learners get better prepared to handle such issues, will boost their ability to make successful use of any business idea they settle on.

Sadly, very little formal training “solutions” exist to confer “Street Wisdom” on those who need it: especially for persons going into business.

I have had considerable contact with MANY training providers who simply use the same approach to conduct learning events for retirees or start-ups, preparing to launch their own outfits.

When the attendees are told all the routine, recycled stuff, ONE major ingredient is often missed out.

Yet that’s the THING, that helps majority of entrepreneurs who breakthrough keep going till they do so!

That THING is what I call the “Mental Attitude Required for Success”

That THING has been found by MANY who have since succeeded in business, by reading books like  Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich, as well as James R. Cook’s Start-up Entrepreneur.

Now that’s an aspect that’s grossly neglected by most people preparing to go into business for themselves.

The truth is that quite often business failures are recorded NOT because the business idea is bad, or the entrepreneur is incompetent.

Often times it’s the mental attitude resulting from a lack of access to, or adherence to a guiding philosophy.

Your adopted mental attitude will equip you to develop the needed “Street Wisdom” to safely and profitably navigate the shark infested waters of business, and indeed life in general.

Unfortunately, this is not something that most people can fully grasp at one sitting or in one learning event.

It often needs to be drummed into their heads. And they even need to READ about it in as many varied ways as possible – till they internalise it.

This is why I believe a practical coaching element, comprising this guiding philosophy, mixed with tips of business practice relevant to the entrepreneur’s needs, MUST be combined to help him/her.

I also strongly believe that’s how we can make a real difference in the lives of these people.

Otherwise, it would just be the same old stuff.

Everything I’m saying is based on over 10 years of interacting with many people in business at various levels in Nigeria

I got a unique opportunity to analyse them up close, and I saw that THAT was often missing element.

My desire to help those who are willing to learn, is what drives me to write about it, and how to do it, on this blog. It is also why I offer learning solutions to help any interested persons. An example is my Spontaneous Coaching for Mastery of Adversity(SCfMA)™ program

To Achieve Quality Success, Building Your Business Needs to be a Labour of Love [Hint: Special Valentine Celebration Offer of Two Cost-Saving Audio Podcasts for Farm CEOs]

History has shown that men and women in love, will often go to great – sometimes unimaginable – lengths for one another.

Yesterday being Valentine’s Day, we’ve had lots of talk about love – especially the romantic kind.

However, the truth is that the “love” for which Saint Valentine’s Day is celebrated is more all encompassing than that – and instead includes what we feel for, and show to all those we have cause to interact with.

For instance, love for our family members, neighbours, co-workers, fellow citizens etc. All of that qualifies for our attention during this Valentine season.

Many times I have wondered how great this world would be if people could apply up to half of the passion and energy they use to show love for the people in their lives, to the process of building their own businesses.

Most people fail to appreciate this truth, but running a successful business is similar in many respects to keeping a healthy relationship – especially with someone you love.

Just like you’d be willing to (as some love-struck persons would say) “go to the ends of the earth to please that special somebody”, so you should be willing to do whatever it takes, for as long as may be necessary, to make your business succeed.

In other words, I’m saying that the process of building a business is necessarily a labour of love.

Little wonder that it is often advised that in choosing a business to venture into, you “do something you LOVE” i.e. that which you have a passion for, and which you would do literally ANYTHING for – just like for that special Valentine.

It is line with the above theme that I therefore offer YOU today – one day after the Valentine day celebration – two of my Audio Podcast Training series via a special Time Limited Valentine “season” celebration discount promo.

The audio messages offer practical insights and experience based wisdom about best practice ways you can make more money for your farm business, at less cost, using less effort, in less time.

It is my way of showing YOU love, and helping you to shower your business (aka your other sweetheart) all the LOVE s/he deserves, so that s/he can reward you with many more profitable and long term returns.

Case Study – Crop Farmers Make 30% More Money Using Innovative Weather Predicting platform: Interview with Professor Oladimeji I. Oladele [Professor of Agricultural Extension]

What follows below, is a verbatim text transcript of a 3 minute video interview by CTA, with Professor Oladimeji I. Oladele [Professor of Agricultural Extension]

dele-cta-interview

In this video, Prof. Oladele explains how Crop Farmers (in Kenya and Ethiopia) recorded 30% income rise, due to increased crop yields arising from enhanced timeliness of decision making and planning for farm production, which was made possible via use of an innovative World Bank Agro-Weather Technology platform he worked on.

NB: Prof. Oladele was the 2014 most productive researcher at South Africa’s North West University

Read the full interview narrative below…

The project I’m working on is Improving Farmers Resilience through the provision or the use of Agro-Weather tools.

It’s a project by the World Bank, sponsored by the Bank of Netherlands, and promoted by CTA.

Essentially, farmers have the problem of coping with the variation, in terms of the amount, in terms of the intensity, and the distribution of rainfall.

So, with the use of Agro-Weather tools, we are able to forecast, to know the amount of rainfall, the distribution of the rainfall, as well as the intensity of rainfall.

So this is simulated based on historical data and geo-reference data, to be able to predict what rainfall amount and intensity will be, for farmers to be able to carry out their agronomic practices and decisions within the available window of opportunity for the distribution of rainfall that is available.

This platform will simulate the climatic conditions and then release information to farmers through SMS, through Interactive Voice Response with different codes for farmers to call and get information on how to make decisions on their agronomic practices for the crops.

In Kenya, the project covered Maize, Beans, Sorghum, Coffee and Tea, whereas in Ethiopia it covered Wheat Tevs (?), Chick Peas and Lentils.

So both male and female farmers were included in the project, and then an important stakeholder, which is the input dealers are brought on board, because the information that is provided by the platform does not necessarily translate to utility.

But the farmers are monitored, and the use of the information is actually confirmed, by our ground staff monitoring the use of the advisory services that are provided.

So in this way, for every stage of production, farmers are able to take advantage of the forecast, to decide and to do what they have to do, in order not to fall outside the available rain period or the rainy days. And they are able to harness the opportunities better.

And we discovered that those who got the information were a lot better off, in terms of yield, in terms of timeliness of operations and the production. And they were able to raise their income by as much as 30%.

And also they are able to be conscious of their environment, in terms of the inputs they use, in order to keep their production very sustainable.

Click here to watch the video.

PS: By way of interest, Prof. Oladele was my co-author for the international agribusiness case sttudy paper I wrote in 2013, under the auspices of CTA.

PII 053: If Achievement of Authentic Non-Corner-Cutting Web Marketing Success Was Easy, Everyone Would Be Doing It! [Hint: What You Need to KNOW – and DO]

Forget the hype you encounter so often online. Achieving tangible, authentic and reproducible web marketing success does NOT come easy – at all.

I know this, because I’ve passed through the – long and sometimes difficult – phases required to get there. And I’ve found that there are various levels of success. What’s more, experience has also taught me that succeeding in web marketing (and indeed any other area of life) is more a journey, than a destination.

So it’s a never ending endeavour.

In my case, one powerful weapon I have successfully leveraged to achieve growing web marketing success over the years, has been the Web Marketing System I conceived several years ago.

Today, I help clients within and outside Nigeria, develop and implement their own unique WMS to promote their products and services to potential buyers at less cost, using less effort and less money, and in less time.

In my case, one powerful weapon I have successfully leveraged to achieve growing web marketing success over the years, has been the Web Marketing System I conceived several years ago.

wms-mindmap-writers

Today, I help clients within and outside Nigeria, develop and implement their own unique WMS to promote their products and services to potential buyers at less cost, using less effort and less money, and in less time.

Adopting a custom Web Marketing System (WMS)™ to promote solutions you offer, to your target audience will make you a member of an elite community of results – focused self-marketing business owners, who leverage this unconventional self-sustaining promotional strategy, to get high impact exposure.

Note however, that if you have been operating in a different way before now, and not had the results you wanted, then you must understand that CHANGING to this new approach is highly unlikely to yield 100% profitable returns overnight.

I can however assure you of certain immediate benefits you can harvest IF you begin to use your WMS™ the way I recommend:

  1. You WILL record a significant – and measurable -drop in time, effort, resources and money you expend in promoting your business.
  2. You WILL also be able to more accurately correlate your marketing expenditure to your client conversion.

By way of interest, a parameter you WILL find it useful to periodically measure is your Cost of Customer Acquisition (COCA) – to ensure you recruit new clients/customers as cost-effectively as possible.

Let me emphasize at this point, that if you want to get the best value from your investment in your WMS™, you need to (if possible printout and) read;

(a) Michel Fortin’s 10 commandments E-book and

(b) Burt Dubin’s Articles on speaking/marketing

I will add that it would serve you well to re-read them, many times over – especially when you need new ideas.

I recommend, in addition, that you also conduct online searches for useful write-ups by other competent authors, to generate new ideas you can try out over time.

In essence I’m saying that your learning must never stop. Indeed you will need to be perpetually hungry for new perspectives you can use to make your marketing more effective.

This is because business marketing is about communication – ultimately.

The quality of useful information and education you offer people who fit your target audience profile, will draw them to you even when you don’t use paid adverts.

The above is a TRUTH that is known by the world’s top marketers – including the 2 gentlemen I’ve recommended i.e. Burt Dubin and Michel Fortin.

What I do today for clients is based on ideas and strategies I developed by studying their works (and those of many others I took time to read up) towards achieving my own business marketing purpose

Today, the web marketing success I enjoy, attracting mostly zero cost sales leads/enquiries from potential buyers within and outside Africa confirms that the ideas I picked up – and adapted creatively for my use – really do work!

That’s why I strongly recommend to all my clients that they FIRST of all develop familiarity with the original concepts, principles, ideas and strategies – by READING what seasoned experts have to say in their written works.

You see, it is when you have done that to a point that I will be able to more effectively add value by working with you to adapt their ideas, to suit whatever unique perspective you have to operate from.

I will bring to bear, over a decade of experience failing miserably repeatedly, in doing the above, having to re-visit and refine my approach, until finally, I found a way to make it work, to achieve financially rewarding returns in my business.

The advantage you will get, from working with me to develop your own unique WMS, is the benefit of my experience based insights.

This will equip me to help you get your WMS up and running faster, minimizing the trial and error involved in the process of evolving what works for you!

“Many people make the mistake of thinking marketing is about selling. The truth is that it is NO (especially when done online i.e. Web Marketing). Marketing is about getting noticed and building credibility in the minds of potential buyers, until they are convinced enough to take buying action which then leads to the sale.” – Tayo K. Solagbade

The point made in the above quote explains why many top marketers/salespeople worldwide agree that in order to make a sale; you FIRST have to make a friend i.e.  ‘making friends’ who eventually ‘buy’ from you to become your clients or customers.

Custom Spreadsheet Applications Are NOT Only for Accounting or Financial Reporting [Hint: Case Study of Tayo Solagbade’s Excel-VB Poultry Farm Manager – an Entreprise Information System]

The video screenshot below (click here to watch it) is of an Excel-VB spreadsheet software (called Poultry Farm Manager™) that I built – in 2014 – for a large poultry layer farm in Ekiti state, Southwest Nigeria, owned by a Nigerian diplomat, who was then based in a Francophone West African nation.

vid-youtube-shot

In 2009, I built the very first version of that app, for a 12,000 layer farm in Ogun State, also in South West Nigeria – owned by an entrepreneurial client couple.

Over they years, I’ve gotten lots of attention for this singular app, confirming my gut level instinct that smallholder Farm CEOs across the world are generally neglected in terms of their data handling and report generation for timely/accurate decision making needs.

But – contrary to assumptions made by some of the farm business owners who come to me, this Poultry Farm Manager app is NOT an accounting application.

Yes, it does income and expense recording and reports weekly, monthly and annually as indicated in the video.

However its main purpose is to record daily operations data so as to auto-generate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for determining how well the animals are doing on a DAILY basis.

As data is punched in, the automated charts are instantly plotted for KPIs like feeding rates, Hen Day Percentage, Mortality Rate; Feed to Egg Conversion Ratio.

The trend of the charted data quickly tells you if there’s anything to worry about. And you can then take corrective action.

I call my applications of this kind “Enterprise Information Systems” (EIS).

This Poultry Farm Manager spreadsheet application originally catered for poultry layers farm operations…

But following inquiries/requests from Farm CEOs reaching out to me from within and outside Africa; I have since included an interface that handles data entry and report generation for a broiler operation.

This includes auto-generation of feeding rate, feed to flesh conversion ratio, mortality rate, growth rate etc, on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.

Those are the KPIs it measures.

What custom spreadsheet software solution or “Enterprise Information Systems” (EIS) do YOU need?

I have a vision to help small holder farmers (and  other businesses) adopt intelligent and cost-effective custom software solutions to manage their farm business more profitably for the long term.

This is why I’m being deliberate in finding the RIGHT clients to work with. It’s NOT a matter of how much money you’re willing to pay, but how committed you will be to making  use of the solution developed to solve a real life problem you have, in a way that it can be used to help others.

If the above describes YOU, fill and submit the form on the page linked here (click).

Potential Spreadsheet Automation Benefits that Farm Businesses Need to Succeed Better [Hint: Insights from Agribusiness Research Survey Interview of Farm Industry Stakeholders]

This article features – and discusses (with charts) – responses to questions in an agribusiness research survey questionnaire I circulated a few years ago.

The semi-structured questionnaire was used to solicit responses from farm owners, feed makers and extension experts. Some were buyers/users of my Excel-VB Ration Formulator™.

CEOs of smallholder (fish, pig, and poultry) farm businesses make up 80% of respondents (30% of them own feed mills, to control feed cost/quality), and 20% are farm support specialists.

22.2% of those who formulate their rations use the Excel-VB driven Ration Formulator™. Others use off-the-shelf software (11.1%), manual Excel workbooks (11.1%), and calculators (11.1%).

sdn-agribizpapee-cht3a

Over 75% of the respondents were 41 years old and above. At least 55.6% hold a University Masters degree; one is a PhD holder, and some also hold professional qualifications.

sdn-agribizpapee-cht5b

Not surprisingly, all 55.6% say they always aim for least cost feed formulation. This suggests they are likely to adopt customizable Excel apps that quickly and accurately formulate rations.

sdn-agribizpapee-cht4

Those who own feed mills will thus confidently formulate useful rations for themselves, and other farmers who come to their mills. Multiple benefits will thus accrue to the industry.

sdn-agribizpapee-cht6

55.6% buy commercial feed (from “2 sources” or “anywhere they can find”). 66.7% of that percentage says they their animals’ performances vary noticeably with different sources of feed.

sdn-agribizpapee-cht2a

Their farm output tends to fluctuate as a result – and that naturally bothers the farmers.

Hen Day Percentage (HDP) data auto-charted – in September 2013 – by a custom Excel-VB software built for a layers farm in South West Nigeria, appears to support the above.

When the two farm managers were asked about a sharp downward slope of charted HDP data, over a one week period (from above 70% to between 55 and 65%), their checks revealed it coincided with their use – due to cash flow problems – of feed from a different supplier!

Customizable Excel-VB driven tools can help such farmers consistently formulate their own feed to specification. More predictable livestock performance and reduced feeding expenses will occur, and ultimately lead to increased profits.

5 Proven Smart Spreadsheet Automation Benefits to Any Business [Hint: Comparing a Manual Excel based Feed Formulation Spreadsheet with an Excel-VB Driven Ration Formulator Spreadsheet Application]

Various farm support experts already offer different Excel based feed formulation tools for farmers.

Some itemize steps users can follow, to manually create formulas in MS Excel worksheets, to build simple feed formulation tables. When the user gets it right, this works okay.

But such solutions can sometimes be like asking users to work in a minefield

When a controlled environment is lacking, the target audience can make all sorts of mistakes. The damage from feeding animals wrong ration formulas can be devastating, and sometimes irreversible!

Apart from errors, manual Excel feed formulations workbooks can be cumbersome, time consuming, and tiring to use. Farmers with pressing farm concerns rarely find them endearing!

That’s why I believe the ease of use, time saving – and accuracy/reliability – of manual Excel- solutions, will be greatly enhanced if they are modeled after the Excel-VB Ration Formulator™.

One Example: A Windows-Based User-Friendly Feed Formulation Workbook (WUFFDA) for Rabbits is available online.

Windows-Based User-Friendly Feed Formulation Workbook (WUFFDA) for Rabbits

It uses a range of ingredients and nutrient profiles, including amino acids, and trace minerals.

However, it needs manual updating of different large data tables periodically. Users have to copy and paste across tables, highlight/drag ranges of cells, scroll through large sheets etc

When using MS Excel, that is an invitation to user generated errors of all kinds!8,9,13
The WUFFDA is a great feed formulation resource. However, intelligent Excel-VB automation, with intuitive graphic user interfaces, will make it more user-friendly (by simplifying and/or taking over routine and repetitive tasks), while also making it more reliable and accurate.

Typical benefits of using the above approach include (See examples in the case study featured in Issue 052 of my Performance Improvement Ideas (PII) newsletter published 2 days ago – click here):

i. Reduction of User Created Errors: Error handlers can be built-in to prevent users from accidentally ending up with faulty rations for an example).

ii. Time and Effort Saving User Friendliness: in-cell drop down menus, as well as automated floating data entry forms, with drop menus speed up data entry by reduce typing.

iii. Feed Formulation Speed and Accuracy: Excel’s powerful calculation engine, combined
with useful database functions, and Excel-VB automation, will enable fast generation of multiple ration formulas, with minimal effort. Since the process is automated, repeat accuracy is assured.

iv. Adaptability: Best practice worksheet design, and customizable interfaces/code make it easy for a competent person (e.g Excel-VB trained extension specialist) to modify the app to
suit changing requirements, whenever the need arises: with no developer fees incurred!

v. Extension to Other Farm Business Aspects: Learning achieved can be easily applied to17
other farm business aspects e.g tracking poultry layers’ Key Pe4rformance Indicators(KPIs)
using an Excel-VB Poultry Farm Manager™ (See 16 Step-by-Step Screenshot User Guide Video Tutorials for it here – click).

PII 052: Real Life Farm Business Case Study – Excel-VB Ration Formulator Spreadsheet Software Anatomy

In this week’s issue of my Performance Improvement Ideas (PII) newsletter, I discuss – using annotated screenshot images – design considerations employed in developing my popular Excel-VB Ration Formulator spreadsheet software.

Prospective buyers, as well as users/owners of this app curious to better understand how it works, and how to make more productive use of it, will find reading this a useful experience – as would persons interested in learning how to build commercial quality apps with user friendly features.

This is a real life farm business case study designed to offer potentially useful insights other business users can learn from, in building zero cost custom apps to solve real life problems.

The information provided is designed to guide the app’s user to become familiar with making use of the app. But it also highlights the thinking that guided design of the different interfaces and features/functions.

This was done to provide the farm CEO, his/her personnel (with skills to function as in-house developers) and possibly extension specialists, information and insights to enable them develop similar apps on their own, at zero cost, to solve other data handling and report generation problems.

4a. Control of Unauthorized Access to Ration Formulation Workbooks is Crucial

The Excel-VB Ration Formulator application is not a normal Excel workbook. When opened, it remains in a small window due to initial disabling of Excel-VB code in it. A PDF user guide (and a 4 part video screenshot tutorial) explains (and demonstrates) how to get to – and past – the login screen (shown above).

xlvbapp-case-study-tip1

A ration formulation workbook typically holds sensitive information, which if tampered with could have serious consequences. The login screen (left above) prevents unauthorized users from gaining access to the contents of this workbook app. A username and password assigned to the licensed owner grants user access.

Following login, the Navigation Menu ensures the user does not stray. S/he clicks the appropriate command button to move directly to the desired interface.

The easy-to-understand interface greatly reduces the need for formal Excel training of end users – especially farm business owners who often have a lot on their hands, and could struggle to make out time to learn Excel in order to use it. The intuitive graphic user interfaces make it possible for a complete Excel novice to use the Excel-VB Ration Formulator.

To ensure success, extension specialists or farm CEOs who choose to develop their own custom apps for use in managing farm business operations will need to build in similar user friendly features to enable ease-of-use.

4b. Best Practice Worksheet Design Is Essential to a Error-Free Use

Figure 3: This nutrient composition table is in a different worksheet from the ration computation table, which has formulas that draw on values from the former. Names of new ingredients added to the nutrient composition table instantly appear in the ration computation table’s drop menus.

For every ingredient that’s chosen by the user in the computation table(below) ALL corresponding nutrient values (protein, energy, calcium etc) entered for it, in the nutrient table (above) instantly appear in the corresponding columns in the composition table – via a database function. No need to type new values in, each time a new or different ingredient is added. This app is futuristic in that it enables users easily add new ingredients or completely replace old ones and their nutrients without having to tamper with the spreadsheet etc. So s/he gets to focus on formulating the ration, rather than worrying about modifying a spreadsheet.

xlvbapp-case-study-tip2

Above: The user clicks an ingredient’s name in the in-cell drop menu or via the floating data entry form (see below). Clicking an ingredient’s name will post it in the cell and the database functions in the table will instantly cause its computed nutrient values to appear along the same row (drawing from the nutrient composition table where they would have been posted initially). A drop menu is also used to choose “fixed” or “variable” label to assign to each ingredient.

4c. Computing a Ration Formula Using the Excel-VB Driven App (Steps A to D)

xlvbapp-case-study-tip3

At “A” Type target protein value into the field labeled “Tgt Pr+ (%)”. Below it, enter total kg of feed you want to make

At “B” Use the drop menus to choose the crude protein sources you want to use

If you choose more than ONE CP source, you MUSTU choose “Mixture” at “C” in the “Variable No. 2” drop menu under Pearson Square Inputs. Once the above is done, click the REFRESH button. The software will generate values into the grey boxes in the “Estimated % To Use In Ration” section (see “C” above).

At “D” You will now enter the values from “C” above into the data entry fields for EACH ingredient at “D” e.g. 55.57 for Maize. Then click the REFRESH button. The formulated ration will be updated on the form (and also on the worksheet).

Drop menus provided next to each ingredient name allow you specify if it is a Variable of Fixed ingredient. The app’s computation takes this into consideration. If you forget to make up the totals to 100% the app will throw an error alert and force you to find and correct the mistake BEFORE you can progress.

The table’s total protein should equal the target Pr+ value you want in the ration you’re formulating. If not check the total % in ration (should be approx 100%) in the table. Sometimes minor changes to the variable ingredients will be needed to get the target protein right. The kcal ME/g, Calcium, Fibre (should be within desired range for your animals).

You will check Ingredients Cost (Naira). Compare to your budget. Make adjustments if needed – possibly using cheaper alternatives. Note that the app instantly inserts user entries in on the data form into the correct location on the spreadsheet. The user need not interact with the spreadsheet at all. And when the right formula is obtained it can be stored (by clicking the “Store this formula” on the worksheet and/or printed out by clicking the “Print Preview” on the worksheet.

4d. Smart Error Handling Ensure Users Get Reliable Ration Formulas

xlvbapp-case-study-tip4

The app formats relevant formula cells in the password protected ration formulation area. They turn RED when “invalid” values appear in them. And it throws an error alert prompt notifying the user.

If the error is not corrected, the user will not be allowed to move beyond that stage. In the instance below, the TOTAL % in ration is less than 100%. The user must clear whatever caused that error before s/he can continue with the ration formulation.

In contrast, manual Excel workbooks created for feed formulation typically allow such severe errors go unnoticed, since no in-built error handling exists.

Bear in mind that this application has evolved over the years, based on feedback from users, to improve the “reliable and safe use”. The original version built in 2004, was not as enhances as this.

4e. Custom Excel Apps Can Use Different Ration Formulation Techniques

xlvbapp-case-study-tip5

This app is based on an improved version of the Pearson Square computation technique, which – unlike the original version – allows for feed formulation using more than one protein source/ingredients at a time. It generates a print-ready formula and diagram.

At the bottom, the user is reminded of rules guiding feed formulation via this technique

On 4th May 2014, Tayo’s 9 year old domain (Spontaneousdevelopment dot com), which hosted his website, was taken over by Aplus.net.

Within a few days however, Tayo used his advanced self-taught web development skills to build a SUPERIOR “reincarnation” of it the website http://www.tayosolagbade.com.

But updates are still ongoing to URLs bearing the old domain name in most of the over 1,000 web pages, and blog posts he’s published.
