To Remove Time-Wasters from Your Sales Leads You Need A Web Marketing System

One of the keys to achieving sustainable success in any area of endeavour is to carefully build a system that is both repeatable and reproducible.

If you cannot build one, find one that you can “buy into”.

Once you have that kind of system in place, WORK IT with diligence, intelligence and persistence, to reap the results it has been designed to generate.

I’ve done this using my custom Web Marketing System to get total strangers from within and outside Africa to contact and buy from me, for years.

When I first started out in business, making money from clients was all about doing as much pavement pounding as I could handle.

But not only was it stressful and cumbersome, most times it was also relatively inefficient, especially when I had to settle down and carry out client projects.

Most times the overheads I had to incur in terms of time, expense and money made a mockery of the income I earned, especially as it related to the profit margins I managed to retain.

I did not like it one bit. Leaving home to client project premises at 6a.m, sometimes earlier, and returning often close to midnight (due to late work hours with client, compounded by Lagos traffic) and sometimes well into the next day.

I will never forget the nights when I fell asleep intermittently behind the wheel as i drove back home from places like Surulere, through Maryland to get to my home in the Ojodu area.

Many times I would have to bang on the gate for someone to come open for me to drive in. Then I’d hurriedly eat my meal, go to bed, and still get up the next morning from 6 to 6.30a.m to go out again – until the project ended.

I’ve been selling my products and services without needing to do any of that for about 4 years now, since resolving – after some particularly painful experiences – that I no longer wished to subject myself to the multiple annoyances of working the way I used to.

You see, I discovered that the nature of the solutions I offered (custom software development, web marketing, information marketing etc) was better delivered via the online platform.

It took me time to come to that realization, but once I did, I knew exactly what I needed to do, to make it work – and I needed no one to tell me it would work.

So, despite the barrage of nay saying that came my way, I stuck to my guns and kept refining my approach until I got it right and began to reap returns in terms of prospects readily choosing to send me payment to get solutions I offered based on contact with my Web Marketing System (WMS).

Here are some examples of what I did to make it work for me:

1. I found a way to use my WMS to communicate the fact that I was trustworthy, so that prospects dropped any doubts about losing their money

2. I found a way to use my WMS to dramatically lower my routine sales and marketing costs, while boosting my marketing reach and impact to earn me massive name/brand recognition that moved prospects who discovered me online closer to buying

3. I found a way to use my WMS to screen out or eliminate time wasters from my sales leads i.e. people just curious but not serious about buying.

Simply put, I developed a combination of techniques and strategies built around a unique Web Marketing System, to help me get as many potential buyers as possible ready to confidently part with money to purchase my offerings.

The best part about this WMS is that I’ve tested it for so long that I’ve confirmed just how to make it work, such that I am rarely ever in doubt about what to do regarding a reluctant buyer.

So, if some prospect comes to me and demands, for example, that I meet face to face with him/her before s/he can agree to buy a solution I offer, I let him/her know that I require payment of a consulting fee to meet in that manner – noting that the amoutn paid will be 100% deductible if s/he goes on to hire me.

If s/he balks at that proposition, I often find that to be 90% confirmation that s/he is not a serious prospect. So I generally have no difficulty moving on.

That kind of “knowing” helps me to make the most effective and efficient use of my marketing time, effort, resources and money. It boosts my ability to achieve – and sustain – profitability.
