Have you ever missed watching (or sharing) a great online video because:

1. You were at work & had no time?

2. Your connection was slow or subscription expired?

3. You tried to watch later but forgot the URL?

It happens to everyone: You and I are no exceptions.

In my case, apart from videos and audios I create offline for them, I use online videos to facilitate the Personal Achievement Coaching (PAC) and Home-Schooling I give my kids.

As you can imagine, they have to watch and re-watch each video several times to fully internalize the lessons.

That's why I'm glad I have the 2-in-1 solution I use to create offline copies of videos I discover, which they then access in my laptop's video library.

If they had to watch online, the Internet costs would be crazy & more importantly they would not be able to re watch at their convenience, limiting their learning.

Now, apart from videos to show your kids, it's likely you sometimes discover or get sent a video you want to watch over and over again and/or show others as well...

Examples:

A. Your favourite celebrity performing

B. The recording of a presidential candidates debate

C. A TV news report that sheds light on an issue you and friends/co workers argued about

D. An eye witness video posted anonymously online that you want to show others

E. A video documentary about a subject you want to study for your work, or to teach others.

Simply put, there will be moments when you wish you had ready offline access to certain videos you heard about or that you once watched.

That happened many times to me, that I began exploring possible options, till I finally found a permanent solution.

My 2-in-1 solution is so good that it enables me take virtually any online video and convert it - in ONE single process - to multiple formats for viewing on different platforms, be it desktop, laptop, notepad ipad, iphone, blackberry, android and other mobile devices.

But that's not all, this solution I use also enables me generate an MP3 audio from the video as a separate download.

How is this useful? I'll tell you...

For videos in which a lot of talking or speaking is done, like a celebrity interview, a keynote speech, a singing performance, or a political debate on a TV Talk Show, this kind of MP3 audio version - with its added benefit of a MUCH smaller file size would often prove just as useful, but easier to share than the video version.

I KNOW because I've used it for the above purposes countless times.

Here are 2 examples:

1. Mohammed Ali's interview on a UK TV show in the 60s (click to watch)

I got this mainly for my kids.

In that video Ali spoke about how a racist white restaurant owner in his hometown in USA refused to serve him food just after he returned from winning Olympic Gold for America, and why that experience made him begin to study the history of black people and slavery.

His search led him to discover Elijah Muhammad's Nation Of Islam, and he eventually changed his name to become a Muslim and begin playing the role of a champion of human rights, using his boxing prowess to get himself taken seriously.

Great video I tell you. Lots of powerful revelation in it about the history of slavery. Every black child/person should watch it.

Let me know if you want it, and I'll email it to you.

NB: I play videos and audios of greats like Ali, Fela etc to make them feel proud to be Black and to inspire them to be the best they can be like those heroes.

2. Learning new skills like cake baking at zero cost

Not many people know this, but the cakes I began baking without using an oven in Benin Republic, were done using what I learnt watching many Youtube videos over several days.

I watched until I felt confident that I could also do it I. e bake cakes without using an oven.

Then I went shopping for the items the videos gave as required then returned to my room to begin trial and error baking on a charcoal stove.

Some days later I produced my first decent cakes and got great feedback from friends who tasted it. A week later, I took my pineapple peel based cakes and drinks to the Nigerian embassy, and got a wonderful response from the senior official I showed them to.

That evening, a Beninese professor from the National Language Centre (CEBELAE) who was at the embassy, insisted on driving me to his home, hours away. There I was hosted to a meal, and later, at his request, shared my story with his wife and kids about how I began using Pineapple peels to make my drinks and cakes.

I've since taught my kids to make the drinks and cakes, and they have made money selling them.

Click here to watch video of a real-life challenge I gave them in Sept. 2014:

My monthly Internet cost at a minimum of N200 per day comes to N6k or more per month as I shuttle between 2 countries.

Using my 2-in-1 solution, I am able to download multiple videos I want to watch later, while doing my work each day. Then when I'm offline I watch the downloaded videos.

As you can imagine, if I did not operate this way, I would have to spend MUCH longer hours online to watch those videos, in addition to the time I have to be online to work.

See how this solution let's you eat your "cake" and have it?(pun intended!)

So rather than staying online longer, and spending more on watching a lengthy video you like, you can use this technique to store the video offline, then take your time to watch it when you are free.

Looking back, if I had not known how to download and watch videos offline when I was learning to bake cakes, I would have spent thousands more to learn all I needed.

What's more, I would not have been able to give my kids a memory card with the videos on it for them to watch and learn OFFLINE using my laptop (when I was away) or their mother's mobile device, when I had to travel.

==== [IMPORTANT NOTE:====

On 4th May 2014, Tayo's 9 year old domain (Spontaneousdevelopment dot com), which hosted his website, was taken over by Aplus.net.

Within a few days however, Tayo used his advanced self-taught web development skills to build a SUPERIOR "reincarnation" of the website at: http://www.tayosolagbade.com.

But updates are still ongoing to URLs bearing the old domain name in most of the over 1,000 web pages, and blog posts he's published.

If you experience any difficulties finding a page or document, email Tayo at tksola dot com.

Click "Tayo, What Happened to SpontaneousDevelopmentDotCom ?" to read a detailed narrative about how the above event occurred :-))

Here's an article Tayo wrote, to inspire others to defy adversity, and bounce back to even greater reckoning at what they do EVERY time:

And he wrote the one below, to explain why losing a domain name, no matter how old NO LONGER determines your online success or otherwise:

A Proven Strategy to Find Profitable Buyers Regardless of Your Domain Name
