Come and learn the rudiments of percussion (agogo, shekere, etc.), talking drum, rhythm guitar, keyboard, bass guitar, drum set, songwriting and music production, etc., from experienced musicians and teachers.<\/p>\n

FREE. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Workshops will run from 10am-1pm and 3p-6pm each day.<\/p>\n

25 new and emerging music artists from all over Nigeria will perform their original materials in various genres live.<\/p>\n

1. The legendary 86-year old Chris Ajilo<\/p>\n

2. \u201cEgbe Awon Omo Alaketu\u201d (a large ensemble of traditional folk singing grandmothers from Yewa)<\/p>\n

3. Tthe 18-member Brave Voices Children Choir<\/p>\n

4. Ibadan-based multi-instrumentalist and singer Femi Ajayi<\/p>\n

5. Soulful songstress Amoke Olarinde<\/p>\n

6. Lawyer-musician Akin Akinola<\/p>\n

7. The Akoko-Edo vibes of the Ososo Moonlighters<\/p>\n

8. Latoya Aduke (longtime partner, singer and dancer for Afrobeat legend OJ Ekemode stepping out in her own right)<\/p>\n

9. The Bolojo-Egbado sounds of Prince Ejiwunmi Ege<\/p>\n

10. The folky jazz of Olatunde Obajeun<\/p>\n

11. And last year\u2019s EMUfest discovery, Mr. Hat and the Quadlibet Band.<\/p>\n
