If you're serious about succeeding in your business marketing, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.speakingbizsuccess.com\/get_published.html\" target=\"_blank\">click here NOW to read that article<\/a> on Burt's website, in a new browser window. <\/em><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style46\"><strong>Many Still Doubt That Writing Can Be <span class=\"style20\"><em>That<\/em><\/span> Powerful<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"style3\"><strong>On with my newsletter message on this theme:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">It pains me to see many who need it to SAVE time, effort and money in promoting their works, still not using <em><strong>writing<\/strong><\/em>!<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\"><em>Why do people still not use this low to zero cost marketing strategy that\u2019s so effective? <\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">I\u2019ve asked myself this question often. I think it\u2019s because they doubt that writing can be that powerful.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">And who can blame them. When your peers and associates pour money exclusively into paid promotional marketing resources, you\u2019re likely to think nothing would work better. Especially if those who do it have results to show.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\"><strong>But consider this:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\"><em>If it costs you $5 US dollars to win a new buyer, using a paid advert, and you discover another method can help you win each new buyer for half a dollar, does it not make sense to adopt it? <\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">Even if you\u2019re already making hefty profits, would it hurt you to become even more profitable \u2013 this time by cutting down your costs? Would that not leave you with additional profit gain you can channel into other purposes, for the SAME effort you expend?<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\"><em>The above analogy shows how using writing for business promotion compares to other methods.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style46\"><strong>Nothing Beats a Marketing Resource with an Unlimited Shelf-Life<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"style3\">Look, every well written article (complete with promotional by-line linking to your product\/service pages) is a timeless marketing medium, that can work for you, even while you sleep, at zero cost.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">And as you write new ones, they will join those existing, to saturate search engines. When a potential buyer does a search, one or more of those articles will likely turn up on the first page of results.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\"><strong> Let\u2019s say today s\/he sees a piece by you at number 10 right at the bottom. Then maybe a week later your piece comes up closer to the top \u2013 possibly among the top five. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\"><em>S\/he may get curious on seeing it appear again - and she could click on your listing in the results page.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">If you did a good job in your article, she could \u2013 on reading it - click your by-line's promotional links. Especially if you put in an intelligent <strong>call to action.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">Arriving on your web page, at least one of two things can happen (if you did your homework right):<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\"><strong>a. She could send you an enquiry about something you offer for sale there, and could end up buying!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">I\u2019ve had that kind of experience too many times to count. Quite fulfilling \u2013 and addictive too. It makes you willing to do more. You basically taste blood!<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\"><strong>b. If you have (wisely) setup a newsletter, which you publish regularly, s\/he could subscribe. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">Then over time, your useful information could move her to see you as a trusted adviser. So that when you make an offer to subscribers, s\/he might eventually buy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\"><em>See how this works? It\u2019s all linked together.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style46\"><strong>It Can Take a Year \u2013 But You Would Not Need to Stress Yourself or Chase Anyone Around!<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"style3\">Like I said in a past article (<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/spontaneousdevelopment.com\/sdnuggets\/can-you-be-trustedtrue-stories-about-people-like-you\/\" target=\"_blank\">see screenshot below<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/spontaneousdevelopment.com\/sdnuggets\/can-you-be-trustedtrue-stories-about-people-like-you\/\">)<\/a>, I\u2019ve had people who stayed on my mailing list for years, before finally buying from me.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">In fact one such person \u2013 <strong>Oladipo Mann<\/strong> - just retired from paid employment some months ago, and started his own farm business. He recently emailed to inform me of that fact, after I re-sent him the password to login to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iff.spontaneousdevelopment.com\/wp\" target=\"_blank\">feed formulation software<\/a> he bought from me last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\"><em>We speak on phone and correspond via email like friends today \u2013 but still have never met face to face!<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\"><strong>NB: <\/strong>In my article titled \"<a href=\"http:\/\/spontaneousdevelopment.com\/sdnuggets\/can-you-be-trustedtrue-stories-about-people-like-you\/\" target=\"_blank\">Can You Be Trusted? Your Writing Can Make Them Trust YOU!<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"style3\">If at some point during those 3 years, I\u2019d stopped writing my articles and newsletter (to which he\u2019s subscribed), I doubt Dipo would ever have gotten convinced enough to buy from me.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">This gentleman wisely took his time to be sure about me. Then one day, late last year, after I sent out my newsletter, I was driving to Ikeja in Lagos, when I suddenly got an email from him on my Blackberry.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">It read \u201c<strong>Please send me your account details so I can pay for the software.<\/strong>\u201d It was that simple. The first and ONLY time we\u2019d spoken <strong>3 years before<\/strong>, he\u2019d balked when I told him I had no office.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">But rather than get an office I did not need (and incur heavy rental fees) or place volatile newspaper adverts, I simply kept writing - online as well as off the web. I knew from experience that as long as I kept it up intelligently, I would attract those who NEEDED what I offered.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\"><strong><em>And that\u2019s the beauty of this strategy: <\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0It helps you sieve the wheat from the chaff. <\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">You actually <strong>attract pre-qualified prospects<\/strong> (not just curious people) \u2013 courtesy of your writing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\"><em>No other system offers such sustainable long term rewards. <\/em><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style46\"><strong>You Don\u2019t Need to Do It Yourself \u2013 If You Don\u2019t Want to!<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"style3\">One more thing. <strong>If you don\u2019t feel you have the time or training to do it yourself, you don\u2019t have to!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\"><em>Get someone competent to ghost-write for you. <strong><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">I get approached - both on and off the web - by serious minded professionals needing writing support to promote the products and services they offer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\"><strong>I ghost-write for them.<\/strong> I\u2019ve done so for clients in a wide variety of industries for over six (6) years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\"><em><strong>If you want<\/strong> <strong>ME to help, <a href=\"http:\/\/spontaneousdevelopment.com\/sdnuggets\/writing-service\/\" target=\"_blank\">click here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">What matters is that you get good quality content out in YOUR name.
