Any person with selling experience will tell you that it is practically impossible to get people to buy from you, if they do not trust you,<\/h3>\n

It's simple common sense, but every day I see otherwise intelligent people trying to sell all sorts of products and services daily, failing to fact this need to build trust into the marketing strategy they adopt.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Many behave as if the world owes them a duty to believe them enough to buy from them, simply because they (the seller) say they are trustworthy - How silly!<\/p>\n

For heaven\u2019s sake, dishonesty can rarely be deduced from looking at a person's face. And it is not easy to determine upfront whether or not a seller possesses the competence to deliver the product or service to satisfaction.<\/p>\n

The man selling equipment that needs to be installed may have quality products from reputable makers on his shelves, BUT could lack the skills to install them in a way that ensures PROBLEM FREE operation.<\/p>\n

The prospective buyer needs to be CONVINCED that the seller can install the device properly, before s\/he decides to pay.<\/h3>\n

It is therefore up to the seller to say and do whatever may be needed to boost his\/her CREDIBILITY in the eyes\/mind of the prospective buyer, so that the latter feels safe to take buying action.<\/p>\n

Depending on the nature of the product and\/or service you sell, convincing potential buyers to buy from you can require varying amounts of time and effort.<\/p>\n

And that has potential cost implications, when you have to deal with large numbers of people considering buying from you. Indeed it can get quite time consuming and demanding to actively SEARCH for, and attract potential buyers, who you then have to converse with, towards convincing them to buy from you.<\/p>\n

The selling process can be long and winding!<\/p>\n

This is why smart sales persons often look for ways to remove the drudgery (I call it \"manual labor\") from the process of recruiting serious minded potential buyers<\/h3>\n

[NB: \"Serious Minded\" is a critical factor to keep in mind, as many time wasters can and do come the seller's way in the course of his\/her sales and marketing activities.]<\/p>\n

The above stated need to screen out time wasters from one's sales funnel BEFORE the need for sales conversations to take place was what led me, over time to develop what I call today, my Customizable Web Marketing System (WMS).<\/p>\n

I've written many articles on what a WMS and why it is a powerful and cost-effective instrument to generating high quality sales leads.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

My success in using it to attract and win over clients from within and outside Africa (both on and off the web), is what is making more and more of my long term clients (who have experienced it getting them to REPEATEDLY buy from me!) engage me to develop and implement something similar for their own businesses as well.<\/h3>\n

It goes without saying that there can be no better proof that something works than that i.e. total strangers who I used my WMS to convert to buyers years ago, are now paying to have me build a custom WMS to enable them achieve similar selling success in their own businesses.<\/p>\n

And what is it that the WMS does to make selling success more likely to happen, you may wonder? What is it that the WMS is designed to deliver to the owner?<\/p>\n

There are several benefits. And I discuss them in my 10 Commandments of Web Marketing series.<\/p>\n

But the most important result or benefit is the generation of a MAILING LIST DATABASE of prequalified prospects<\/p>\n

Potential buyers fitting your target audience profile, who have CONTACTED you about the solution you offer, and in the process given you access to CONTACT them in return by sharing their contact and other details with you.<\/h3>\n

This may happen via email, phone call and\/or SMS, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and of course your website Contact Form.<\/p>\n

I have used the above and others to collect - with permission - this kind of data, from potential buyers for year. And on many occasions I successfully followed up till I closed the sale.<\/p>\n

The others inquirers remain subscribers to my email list, through which I continue sending attention-getting information and education messages to boost my credibility and move them closer to buying from ME!<\/p>\n

When you have a list of people who have indicated interest in buying from you, it makes the marketing and selling process easier and more enjoyable.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This situation is what is described as keeping your sales funnel full. All you then have to do is periodically MINE (as in GOLD MINING for instance) your database of prequalified prospects for sales.<\/p>\n
