One of them is use of customizable \"Enterprise Information Systems (EIS)\" i.e. custom software to monitor farm Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for proactive and profitable decision making.<\/p>\n In the closing chapter of the 4,000 word international Agribusiness case study paper I got paid by a European Union funded NGO to write in December 2013, I noted that there was a case to be made for (what I call) a Best Operating Process Management System (BOPMS) \u2122 for Profitable Farm Business Management.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n By this I mean farm businesses, regardless of size, need to develop and implement systems of operation that will enable them achieve repeatable and reproducible quality and volume of output over time.<\/p>\n This will be done much the same way as (for instance) large manufacturing multinationals conduct their own operations, to achieve what they call \"Right First Time, Every Time\" output .<\/p>\n In this video, I provide an introductory overview of what the 5 components of the BOPMS I conceived are about, in terms of how their adoption can help a farm business achieve long term stability of products QUALITY and OUTPUT over time, in a manner that gives the owner peace of mind, reliable profits and other benefits.<\/p>\n Click the link below to read the original text transcript based article I published along with this video on October 1, 2013 @ 11:39:30 from my room in Benin Republic's Cotonou.<\/p>\n What is a BOPMS for Farm Improvement?
