The Situation:<\/h3>\n

In most progressive companies (regardless of size) busy managers\/executives routinely handle business data and information generated daily, to prepare standard reports for use by senior management\/decision makers etc.<\/p>\n

The Problem:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Generating the needed reports is often not easy. Some data needs to be tabulated\/charted \u2013 possibly correlations drawn as well. Often times the data collation and report generation process \u2013 though done on spreadsheets \u2013 is not well managed. The boss sometimes has to get involved in sorting out the resultant confusion so as to get the report out on time!<\/p>\n

Some people are comfortable working without any particular format specified. Some are not. The latter wish an easier way to \u201cput it all together\u201d could be put in place. <\/strong><\/p>\n

As a result of the above, the integrity of the final report produced is what suffers, because when someone else does the reports, s\/he will often do something different from the previous person!<\/p>\n

Every business leader knows that NOTHING could be worse than using \u201cinaccurate\u201d reports for decision making? Indeed, so many examples abound that show the devastating damage that companies can suffer as a result of decision making based on wrong reports!<\/em><\/p>\n

On 1st April 2013, Tayo (who reads, write and speaks the French language) relocated to Cotonou, Benin Republic<\/a> to begin slowly traveling across the West African region.<\/p>\n

In a previous life, before leaving to become self-employed, Tayo served for seven years (October 1994 to December 2001) as a high performing manager in Guinness Nigeria. He rose from Shift Brewer to Training & Technical Development Manager, and later acted in senior roles as Production Manager and Technical Manager.<\/p>\n

In addition to constantly challenging the status quo and influencing positive work changes, he built a reputation for using self-taught spreadsheet programming skills (starting with Lotus 1-2-3, and later moving to Excel Visual Basic) - in his spare time - to develop Automated Spreadsheet Applications to computerize manual report generation processes in the departments he worked. Over four(4) of his applications were adopted for brewery level reporting.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Tayo holds a B.Sc degree in Agricultural Extension Services from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, having graduated top of his class - with Second Class Upper Division honors - in 1992. He is an Associate Member of the UK Institute & Guild of Brewing, a 1997 National Finalist of the Nigerian Institute of Management\u2019s(NIM) Young Managers\u2019 competition, a Certified Psychometric Test Administrator for Psytech UK, innovator of Spontaneous Coaching for Self-Development\u2122 (SCfS-D\u2122), and Founder of the Self-Development Academy (SDAc)<\/a>.<\/p>\n
