Sharks are man eaters!
Wrong, wrong, wrong!!!
According to elasmobranchologists (i.e Marine Biologists), Shark attacks are not deliberate.
What can happen is that a Shark is deceived by a surfer on the water surface which can resemble a turtle from below.
The Shark could attack thinking is a real turtle.
Sharks may also attack due to fear and for self defence.
For instance, sometimes a Shark may be cruising by and a diver plunges into the water from above it, creating a flash that startles the Shark and makes it react in self-defence.
So you see, Sharks are not really man eaters.
They are just generally misunderstood!
